Balafon / Hari wood shell 34 cm (Copie) (Copie) (Copie) (Copie) (Copie) (Copie) (Copie) (Copie) (Copie)

Mali shell benefit from natural drying for at least ten years—a rare patience that profoundly transforms the wood.

Stable, dense, and permanently set in its shape, it is immune to deformation or reduction in diameter.

At this stage of maturity, the wood has reached its full acoustic potential; this is precisely the level of quality that players of high-end djembes seek.
